About Cruise: L'amant cruise designed follow the classic 1930's style combining between traditional decoration with carved wood and lustrous brass and modern comfort. With 39m longs included 12 cabins, L'amant cruise can serve upto 24 passengers cruise Mekong River in Luxury. Join this L’Amant’s cruise tour, you will visit an honorable homage to Sa Dec, the town where the famous French author, Marguerite Duras lived during her childhood. Now famous for its flowers and bonsai plants, Sa Dec turned out to be a pleasant village and its structural richness is an array of gold woodworks and delicate murals.

2Days Tour of Cruise
Option 1: My Tho - Sa Dec (Depart on Monday / Wednesday / Friday)
Day 1 : My Tho - Cai Be - Vinh Long (L,D)
Optional pick up at your hotel in Saigon. 11.30: Meeting at My Tho Tourist Pier and embark on board L’Amant on time to enjoy a delectable lunch and get acquainted with the crew, while the vessel starts its way upstream to Cai Be. In the early afternoon, embark on a local sampan boat to sail through Cai Be’s floating market and taking the rowing boat, journey through the numerous arroyos and be captivated by the serenity of the Mekong Delta. Visit an ancient colonial house and a rice popcorn factory and taste the local specialties. Return on board L’Amant and depart to Vinh Long while watching the sunset from sundeck. Early evening, the boat will anchor near Vinh Long (after My Thuan Bridge) for overnight. Dinner on board followed by the projection of the film “L’Amant” or “Indochine”. Overnight on board of L’Amant.
Day 2 : Vinh Long - Sa Dec (B)
After breakfast, the boat heads towards Sa Dec. Upon arrival, time to check-out before getting on a local boat to reach Sa Dec city, the old-fashioned town, famous for its flowers and bonsai plants, and where the French Writer Marguerite Duras spent her childhood. Stop to visit the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le, the “house of the Chinese” described in Marguerite Duras’novel L’Amant, before heading to a Chinese temple and stopping at the tomb of L’Amant. Finally, pass-by the school where Margerite’s mother has taught as well as the house where she used to live with her children. On the way back, stroll through the lively market streets of this fascinating town. 11.00: End tour.
Note: The school is closed during Tet (Vietnamese New Year festival) and other public holidays.
Option 2 : Sa Dec - My Tho (Depart on Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday)
Day 1: Sa Dec - Vinh Long - Cai Be (L,D)

Day 2: Cai Be - My Tho (B)
The boat heads towards My Tho while breakfast is being served. Upon arrival, it’s time to check-out before getting on a local boat for a cruise along islets and tropical orchards. Cruise through the canal of Xep and reach a small island where a horse-drawn cart will wait for you. Enjoy a tour through the island and discover small villages. Stop en route to taste tropical fruits and visit a bee farm then continue on a rowboat through the narrow, tree-lined canals of the River. Visit handicraft villages, a coconut candy factory before returning on shore. The visit ends at around 11h00

Embark on board L’Amant on time to enjoy a delectable lunch and get acquainted with the crew, while the vessel starts its way upstream to Cai Be. After that, crew will serve foot massage (1hour) and nails treatment, while other guests visit Sa Dec.
Day 3 : Cai Be - My Tho - Sai Gon (B)
The boat heads towards My Tho while breakfast is being served. Upon arrival, it’s time to check-out before getting on a local boat for a cruise along islets and tropical orchards. Cruise through the canal of Xep and reach a small island where a horse-drawn cart will wait for you. Enjoy a tour through the island and discover small villages. - More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 7 days prior to check-in: 10% of total rates
- From 6 to 3 days prior to check in: 50% of total rates.
- Less than 3 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
